Accounts and Finance, i cant run away from youuuuu..
At AMOY street now..
Sitting at a desk piled with paperwork.
Yest i had a test frm my boss.
He asked the Investent Manager to give me a lil test on finance/ investment and accounting.
That's to test to see if i can put what i've learnt to practice..
I almost died.
Looking at the amount of reports i've to go thru just to pluck out the RIGHT data was the most difficult.
I know how to get the answers.
I just dont know which data to pick from, cos seriously, there were SOOOO many figures!!
I almost went blind yest while looking at those numbers.
But once sorted out everything, things were alright..
Still, I really hate doing anything gotta do with accounts!
And i gotta dig up my past accounting/ finance knowledge, chucked at the back of my mind, just to work out the calculations for the darn 4th Quarter Financial Statements for this petroleum company.
Gross Profit, Expenses, G.P Margin (%), Earnings Per Share, Income statement, Collaterals, Foreign exchange, Investment income, Provision of Tax, Deriviative Financial Instruments, Bonds, Total Annual Dividend, Share Capital and reserves!!
All Finance and Accounting!!
KILL ME NOW PLS!
Though i hate accounts/ finance, when i was given this piece of task to do, i was actually gleeing away with the challenge.
