First day at work.
Started work on Thurs 11/01.
It was an impromtu call frm THE boss on Wed to start work the nxt day.
Im now wondering if its a gd or bad thing to be working in the same premises as my mom..
FYI, this is my first admin job and i know i will be taken good care of by my mom and my boss (whom my family and I are relatively close to since young).
But the pressure is on me to do my work even better since my mom has to screen my work.
And knowing my mom for 19yrs, she's a true perfectionist.
She will not accept the slightest mistake or imperfect doing.
Thus, I had to correct, re-correct and re-re-correct my work until she says OK.
I was dead tired on my first day of work.
But this was not due to the WORK.
It was due to the long working hours.
Ok, i lied, its not THAT long. Its the norm working hours.
BUT i have dance classes on every Mon and Thurs!
So after my first day at work, i had to rush off for dance at night.
By then, I'd be so so zonked out even before the music is being played.
Let alone dancing to the music. zzzzzzzzz...

So I spoke to my mom about my tiredness and she recommended me to do flexi hours.
I then spoke to my boss bout it (about how much i didnt enjoy my dance on Thurs) and he discussed with me a compromise timing for both me and him to be satisfied with.
So we discussed, and it came to a conclusion that i can start work at 12pm everyday.
Oh well, I will just try it out and see how it turns out to be.
My boss has been really understanding and reasonable..
He doesnt want to see me give up dancing nor un-enjoy my dancing lessons.
Cos i told him that its the working hours that caused my un-enjoyment for dance.
So he gave me the chance to have flexi hours.
I am truely grateful for this arrangement.

Off to get energized for tmr's work and dance!
Tmr will be a very long day.
A half day at work, a whole night at dance.
Goodnight world.

about ME
I am the pastel that paints your world
Boldness is my daringness
Italic is how my imagination drifts
