Yst after work was supposed to go down to O school to find val before we both head down to NUS for our practice.
Tried bombing val's hp (2 handphones in fact!) tryin to reach her cos i wanted her to meet me at City Hall, so that i dont need ta go all the way down to O school then take a train to Clementi.
But to no avail.
She only picked up the call when i reached City Hall.
Was about to tap my card out when i asked her to come to City Hall to meet me instead.
She agreed and packed up at O school to meet me.
But while waiting for her, i received a phone call from her saying that it's raining very heavily and she's stranded in O school building.
Poor girl.
So i told her that i'll go down to NUS myself to meet someone and supposedly, have our dinner.
Bad weather- rained like madddd, flooded ground- got my shoes and pants wet, got confused/dont know where to alight at NUS cos NUS is friggin' HUGE, and a very very empty stomach.
All the above made me a very very nasty girl.
Met someone at the bus stop at NUS.
Tried to look for food.
No food.
Walked for miles (ok, i exaggerated) before we found a pathetic Coffee Club Express which doesnt have anything available on its menu board.
Thus i settled for a 4 dollars cheesecake and a palm-sized chocolate chip cookie.
While someone just had his very hot (which wasnt supposed to be hot in the first place) chocolate latte.
Both feeling miserable, we got settled at AS7 and found a place to fill my oh-so-empty tummy.
I swear im starting to hate NUS to the core.
I dont know why.
Perhaps everytime i go there, its always raining!
And just thinking bout the journey to NUS and back home is just enough to kill my whole day.
After eating, i went to meet the team for practise while someone had to leave for home (for somemore impt business to handle) insert: -rolls eyes-
Anyway, the practise was fruitful enough as we've almost clarified most of the parts that we were supposed to know and tied up some loose ends.
Though it was quite a stressful night, we managed to sum up everythin in a more focused way.
What's lacking now is the wrapping up and the whole team to be seen in unison.
More practises coming on the way.
For this week: Tue, Wed, Thurs, maybe Sun.
Next week: Tues, Wed, Thurs (Full-dress rehearsal), Fri (Full-dress rehearsal), Sun(Actual Performance!)
FYI: This performance is a Mandarin Pop Musical by NUS "Voices" on the 25th March 07.
Will be held at Republic Poly, UCC.
Starts at 7pm.
