Kitchen + Backyard Face Lift

Pics were taken Day 7 into the minor renovation.

Whole house seems like remnants of terrorist attacks.

Got woken up by thunderous hacking and continueous drilling since 9am till bout 6pm.

This was the first time I had to eat my meals in the room everyday since the start of the renovation. (Im rather strict on this: STRICTLY NO FOOD ALLOWED in my room)

Thus I did not step out of my room for several days till at least 7pm.

To add on, the water supply was cut off suddenly for a good 6hrs during their works.

That means, no flushing of toilet (even if u shit or pee, no water to flush), no washing hands, no bathing.

Hacked down 2 walls, removed the floor and wall tiling, removed all table tops and cupboards, removed fridge.

Now the whole kitchen and backyard (including the ground floor toilet) is filled with nothing but debris.

We all had to resort to wearing slippers in the house at least until we reach our rooms.

I feel like im living in a construction site.

Not the best feeling.

But it's all gonna be worth it for the end product.

Let's pray it wont last for long.

Looking forward to the final outcome.
I'll post up pics again of the end product and u'll judge whether it's all worth.
New HUGE fridge, cooking hobs (including urban electrical hobs, not those gas/fire ones), baking oven and lots of additional storage space!
ALL BUILT IN, EVERYTHING is in a FLUSHED design.
Wheeee!
