It was a 4day work week since Hari Raya falls on a Fri.
All my colleagues were in a festive holiday mood.
I myself had plans after work for many places.
Then just a few hours before knock-off, a "tragedy" happened.
And I landed in hospital.
My colleague and I was sending a candidate out to our main door.
So we were walking along a narrow corridor.
Then my colleague who was walking in front of me, smashed her head into a jut-out false wall, took a step back, and this was where her 4inch high heels pierced through my foot.
Her head was seemingly fine despite that hard knock.
But that contusion made me rooted to the ground as the pain was so intensive and servere.
I wanted to collapse on the floor but knowing that the candidate was still around, I told my colleague to send him out first.
Only after they walked away, I collapsed on the floor in the middle of the corridor with my 4 inch heels.
As embarassing as it is, I started crying cos I really couldnt walk nor stand at all.
The moment my right foot had contact with the floor, I would have to lift it up.
They were worried that i might have a hairline crack on my bone or sth, so I was being sent to a hospital after work to have xray done and got my wound dressed.
It was an eventful day and was so upset that this might actually leave an ugly scar on my foot.
It was also the first time visiting a hospital's A&E, and definitely my first sitting on a wheelchair.

The wound was quite superficial but the heel cut was quite deep in

But the painful part was the walking.
Doc said that I coulnt walk due to the damage in the tissues in the muscles.

This means that I wouldnt be able to walk for a week.
There goes my weekend plans.
And I had to visit a GP on mon for a review and to change my dressing.
I realise that we take most things for granted.
Especially things that came naturally to us, such as walking.
But now I really appreciate my arms and legs and everything about myself.
Happy hols everyone.
Hope u all had a good weekend.
